    Shit man, skip may say he is bringing sexy back but you are the one rocking the sleeveless plaid shirt and the sandals in the gym!! Mad props! I think I wore that exact same outfit the entire summer of 88!!

    Nice work bro.

    Band question for ya. I've never used them but am considering them cause my gym won't just leave the caps off the hammer equipment so I can get the extenders....bands seem like next best choice. Question is are there different "brands"? If so, what's considered the best or most reliable? Last, what sizes do they come in (mean resistance wise)?

            Haha Dun glad u like the look lol, I do take a bit of flack for that shirt , but fuk it it's comfy lol

            Re the bands, they are the greatest addition to my training iv ever made. I do 3 weeks banded and increase band tension each session, 2 weeks dropping bands out and resetting max lifts without bands , then re add them for 3 weeks at new load weight and restart the cycle of increasing band tension. I am from the uk so I can't get the elitefts ones without being stung hard in shipping, u sir can , elite fts ones are awesome, for short stroke moves get the mini bands, they ar the black ones in standing on in the Dante row, for dynamic effort work and for reverse band work on squat and bench variations Url need the 41inch resistance bands, start with a light tension, then soon Url need heavier and again hevier tension bands, my reds give 50 pounds at top, blues 80 pounds, I just bought sun greens tht giv 120 bcos I Want to abuse the banded leg press haha , hope this helps, il b chucking up a lot more vids with bands rigged upto various exercises

              I couldn't agree more

              band tension is safe on the joints, causes tons of growth promoting eccentric overload, and honestly is just plain fun

              some of my favorites:

              Leg Press
              Hacks
              Deads
              Barbell Row (reverse band...easier on legs and lower back, destroys upper back)
              machine/smith chest press
              machine dips/curls
              pressdowns/cable curls
              machine pulldowns
              leg curl

              the list could go on and on

                They are safe but they beat you up pretty quickly also, atleast in my experience

                  Thanks guys. I am actually pretty surprised I never tried them...I've tried everything else at one time or another. Looking back, when bands and chains started getting popular I stopped training at a hardcore gym and started training at more of the healthclub type gym (hell where I live now there is not a single "gym" within 40-50 miles of my but probably 20 healthclubs).

                  I am gonna order myself some (hell I was expecting them to cost a lot more) and start on the machines I got maxed out and go from there

                      they beat up your nervois system more than your joints

                      joint damage mostly occurs in the stretched position, and bands limit tension in that stretched position

                      unless you're locking your elbows and knees you should be fine, joint wise

                      I still think rotating them in and out is wise for CNS recovery
