  • How's this full body?

Looking at doing a full body routine for a while, how does this look?

    Squats/Deadlift – 3 sets of 5.
Incline Barbell Presses – 3 sets of 5.
    Wide-Grip Chins – 3 sets to failure.
Clean and Press – 3 sets of 6.
Standing Barbell Curls – 3 sets of 6.
    Pullover Press – 3 sets of 6.

      Just my suggestions:

I assume you are doing this 3xs a week as in Mon, wed, Fri...if that's true then I would squat or dead on Mon, wed do neither then do the other on Friday. I would drop the "clean" from the clean and press. I would also dead or squat LAST in the work out. I know some say do either first when your fresh but if I ever kill either ex....I have nothing left.

      So I would...

      Bench (any kind)
      Pull ups
      Standing or seated military press
      Rv grip chins
      Dips
Deads or squats. On wed do neither and on Friday do whichever one you didn't do on Monday. You may feel the need to drop to 2 post warm up sets depending on how hard you push each set.

      Peace and good luck.

I have been using a full body routine and this is how I set up.
          5 total movements
First three are a back row or vertical pull, press, lower body (not necessarily in that order)
Last two are isolation, like abs, calves, curls, extentions
I dont always fill the last two spots for isolation work.

Right now my routine looks like this

          Monday:
          Squats
          Tricep dips
          Neutral grip pull ups
          Incline crunches

          Thursday:
          weighted pull ups
          Standing db shoulder press
          Good mornings
          Single leg calf raises
          Ab leg raises

          Saturday:
          Incline bench
          Reverse grip bb rows
          Single leg squats
          Facepulls

First movement of each workout is the primary movement I run off of percentages and really focus on getting stronger on.

I like something like this when it comes to full body stuff.

Mad Cow seems the most appropriate.
PM me to discuss website/video/dvd etc. related work.

Hmmmmm....I wonder why? Could it be that every time someone gives you an answer, you question it and then ask 3 more questions? Quite possible....

People don't think you're an asshole, they just think you are lazy and wanna be spoon fed rather than doing a little research on your own.....you're lucky some other mods haven't been very active the last few days, cause I'm fairly patient AND I'm a new mod, so I'm not really into banning anyone, BUT, my patience is starting to thin a bit.....I think you need to do some reading..... Get to it, no more questions.....
