Ignoring the calorie content, that is a FUCKLOAD of physical volume of food. I literally cannot fathom eating 3 cups of rice, 10 oz of turkey, AND vegetables in one meal.

        Rough estimate:

        7000 calories
        100g fat
        850g carbs
        650g protein

        P/F/C = 35/15/50

        Damn.

Great deal of dedication on his part but let's also remember that if the average guy ate that....they would be fat as fuck! Don't matter how they train or anything else... Feed that to 99.999938627999992999% of the population and they will hit 400 lbs of fat.

Of course, if they ate THAT amount of food, but if the macros were specific to them, do you think that would still happen?

DG, at that amount of kcals per day, do you really think macros are going to make a difference for the general population? With that amount of kcals, unless you are an elite athlete and training your ass off, you are simply going to turn into a fat shit cat (yes, this is a medical condition). lol

Definitely for the general population, yes. (Fat shit syndrome is on it's way).

But I was referring to setting the macros up for someone who trains like Dusty and has similar goals. (Al beit, not his genetics, obviously).

Edit: For me, for instance, just with the protein, in the low 170's (lbs) that puts me at around 360 in protein.

That's high, yes, especially from clean food, but not unreasonable for someone who's trying to accomplish Dusty's offseason goals...do you agree?

I take in between 100 and 200 grams a day with way more days closer to 100 than 200...prob average between 125 and 150.

You can break those macros down any way you want but it you are burning say 3k a day and take in 3500....you will gain wt. If your wt gain exceeds your ability to put on muscle then you will gain fat.

That's true... When I have 1 and 1/2 cups of rice with some veggies and 8-10 oz of meat, poultry or fish, I feel like I'm about to explode. Besides, in my case, I don't feel like I could handle more than 3 solid meals a day at the age of 36. Between 10 and 20 years ago, more solid meals sure would have been fine, but I still don't know about those 2-3 cups of rice at each sitting.
