  • Belt question...

I have had the same weight belt since high school (I'm 30). It is the run of the mill, old school, thin, tan belt. Thinking I need something better, with a little more support. Seems to be a lot of choices. Here is one I am thinking, it is 10mm. And it isn't very much $.

Definitely go with the 10mm Inzer. One of my friends bought the 13mm and simply could not break it in. The thing was stiff as a board, but Inzer was cool about it and accepted a return for a 10mm at no charge.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I heard what I needed. Gonna go ahead and order the 10mm "forever belt."

If you don't want to go as extreme, since you are a BBer and not a PLer, you may want to look into the tapered belt. It will be more comfortable pulling in this belt, but you won't get as much poundage out of it.

I's consider myself a bodybuilder over a PLer, and I did not enjoy the tapered belt.

I'm 6'1 though, not sure how it'd be if I was shorter.

I have never tried a belt that I liked. I have a toro 10mm lever belt and it hurts like a bitch on my ribs and hip bones when I do squats or deads.

I've used a double-prong 10mm forever belt for years and I love it.

Any benefit of the single prong vs. double prong - comfort, durability?

Amen to that. Keep in mind, Inzer does take forever to ship. They don't keep many items in stock.
