Holy sheet you would think so by the number of people at my gym this week! Waited till 8pm last night to go in just to avoid some of the crowd and d-bags.

Lately for some reason I have not been able to get out of bed in the morning to hit the gym @ 3:30. I've been going in the evening around 4:30 and it's a mad house. Wall to wall douche bags.

It's already started at the gym I usually go to as well. Luckily for me, they just opened a MetroFlex in San Antonio, so the past two days, I have been the only one there Even got to plug my iPod into the speaker system...

I think memberships boosted because the Biggest Loser Finale was a couple of days ago. I have noticed a lot of really BIG people there.

It is horrendous at LA Fitness right now. They just bought out Ballys, so everyone from the Ballys down the street is going to our gym now. I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to get out of the squat rack while they were curling an EMPTY BAR. My workouts went from 60 to 90 minutes.

I actually look forward to it. Not only is it good for biz, but I like the energy of a packed gym. Maybe I'm vain and like the feeling of a lot of eyeballs on me when I'm moving some weight, but I definitely get a better workout in a busy gym as opposed to one that is not so much.

Plus, I may be imagining it but the body heat created by hundreds (if not thousands, it is a big box gym after all) reduces my warm-up time :flame::club:
