  • Please offer feedback on the site

It is that time of the year again where I look to get traffic up as we head into the busy time of the year. Traffic always falls during the summer and this year is no different so I want to get some feedback from the members as to what you would like to see here at IM and what we may be neglecting that you want to see come back.

Please let me know your thoughts on what you would like to see at IM to make this site better as we head into the fall and winter.

    Thanks!

I really want to see the image tags available in the journal and main discussion sections.

At the top, where the most recent threads are shown, it would be nice if you would click and it would take you to the next unread post, not the first post. Know what I mean?

I love Skip's round table, but i realize there's not much more to be done with it.... finding topics and getting the pros to talk about it is no small task... Maybe a "Skip's Rant Table"? lol

Maybe some live porn cams, etc...

Seriously, I would like to see more contests for IM gear and other things.

I think you should be able to "like" someone's post. There are a lot of times I agree with a post and don't necessarily want to quote them and say "right on".. I would much rather click "like" and have it show up that I like their post.

              Know what I mean?...

I think there would be a few people that would like this post to indicate their agreement. lol

I think a series of QandA's with roundtable experts/established or respected members. The Dusty Hanshaw QandA was a goldmine of info, and IM contains members in all aspects of lifting (powerlifting/strongman/bodybuilding) so it would be cool to have threads from all of these genres with thoughts on diet, training, misc things etc.

the only thing i miss or would like to see more of is the roundtable discussions.

always great threads and i tend to always be reading older ones

Is there any way you can get Dante to come back and post a little more? I miss seeing his rants, and pearls of wisdom pop up.
I'd also like to see maybe a bit more topics on DC training over all from advanced trainee's or trainers in the system.
That is for me, but also for new people coming to the site. I believe anyway that most of the traffic gets directed here because they are interested in DC training? That is how I found it, and how I see it mentioned on other sites.

I'd like to see more of basically all the mods/more experienced/advanced guys rants and raves. I think they offer invaluable wisdom, even if they believe it to be mundane. I also feel that great discussions arise from these types of rants and feel they are far more informative than most everything out there, because more often than not, it is backed-up by experience and sometimes back-up by science (Looks at homon).

Other than that I love everything else because it really doesn't get cluttered with bs topics that go nowhere and have nothing to do with anything, I feel for the most part every thread here is a gem and that is why I continually comeback to this site. As if it hasn't been said enough Skip and those who run this site, thanks for keeping this site awesome. Now that I'm done with my nut-hugging I'll get off my soap box.

I think Sammich and Skip should participate in weekly discussions with one another about their belief systems, childhoods, and theories of the universe. It could be theraputic for you and entertaining as hell for us. Call it "Tea Time with the HNIC and that mother fucker Dino-Bird-Frog-Squat"

I remember you mentioning wanting to do some video blogging a while back. Postingthose straight into threads here or a subforum would be something new.
PM me to discuss website/video/dvd etc. related work.
