Congrats to my wife

Some of you know she is an inline speedskater. This week here in Colorado Springs, she has been competing in the USA Roller Sports Outdoor Nationals. So far at the Banked Track event her totals are 3 Silvers, 1 Gold and a new national record in the 1500m. She also broke the records in the 300m time trials only to get beat out by .10 by the former record holder. Her time for the 2nd place finish in the 500m also beat the old record but she was in 2nd place so she never technically broke it. For all 3 second place finishes, she was right on the heels on the 1st place person. Considering this is her first year at the outdoor event and the lady that won first has been doing it for 10+ years, I predict many new records and all 1st place finishes next year.
She still has the road course to do on Wednesday

2 races down so far today and 2 more Gold medals. Still have 2 races to go. Not sure if she set any new records yet today. I'll have to wait for her to get home in a few hours for the final results. Hopefully no more rain delays

Here is what my wife posted about her competition.

For those curious to know, here are my final results for Outdoor Nationals: 5 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 4 records broken, not too shabby for my first ODN. And I had a blast competing, was LONG OVERDUE, 7 years of not competing in inline speed skating was way too long! So glad to be back in it!!
