No offense, but I don't trust this any further than I could physically throw the mainframe it lives on. Can you say VIRUS?

Not to mention, how many of these are copyrighted and illegal to publicly distribute?

Sammich, you are correct I am going to edit my post and take down the link to this database. If anyone wants to access the files, just ask me and I'll send the link.

If any mods want to delete this thread, please feel free to do so as I do not have the privileges to delete a thread.

Don't get me wrong, as it was a great idea and very nice, it's just a combination of:
          1) COVER YOUR OWN ASS (you, I mean, in terms of legality)
          2) Some of those files were in formats that are prime targets for having some sort of malware attached. (pdf and doc, primarily)

Maybe there would be some way to take the articles you KNEW were ok to share and put them into a format that doesn't easily have malware attached, like a .txt file?

I don't think I know how to convert those files. Many of them were simply files shared with me and I just compiled a central location for them.

The only thing I can say about legality is that I viewed it more like sharing a book with a friend I also may have accidentally saved my files in a location that others can access. Anyway, thanks for looking out for me. Smart man, smart man....

I mean if someone were to somehow discover that you had these files and sent you a private message wherein you told them how to see these files, then it would be hard to prosecute you since no one would find out, right?

Nonetheless, perhaps I have saved you a stern talking-to from Dad (a.k.a. Homo).
