At the golds i trained at they preferred NSCA and NASM, however didnt treat us any differently than those who had ACE or ISSA etc. So figure out what will actually make a difference to them, it may not be worth the extra time and money to go with NSCA or NASM.

In my experience every job I've ever interviewed or applied for (and there have been plenty) accepts NSCA and ACSM.

Figure out where you want to work, first.

While all facilities respect ACSM, NSCA, NASM, etc, that doesn't mean they don't REQUIRE a specific one organization for their employees.

IMHO, it really depends on where you are going to get a job. You need to do some research about where you want to work and which certs they prefer. i.e. if you have an ACE certification and the place you are going to work at requires NSCA.

ACSM or NSCA if you have your Bachelors degree in an Exercise Physiology related field...

If not then go with ACE, or maybe ISSA
