  • My recomposition plan.. calorie cycling.. is this right?

So, I'm sitting at 165lbs at the moment. My maintenance calorie is about 2200kcal.

I burn about 400kcal per workout session.

    So, on rest days, I should do 2200 - 300 (maintenance - deficit) = 1900kcal.

    On workout days, I should do 2200 + 400 + 300 (maintenance + workout calorie burned + surplus) = 2900kcal.

So, 1900kcal on resting days and 2900kcal on workout days. Is this a solid plan for recomposition?

      5'10" 27yrs old... doing a 3 day split training 3 times a week.

My goal is slow and steady body recomposition. For this year, I want to reduce my bodyfat by 2-3% and gain 5-8 lbs.

My plan is to have calorie deficit of 300kcal on rest days and have surplus of 300kcal on workout days.

i think you might go better with a clean bulk , with no carbs at night (unless if you train at night) , carbs only prewo , pwo , breakfast .. there are lots of good info about clean bulk in this forum .
