  • EliteFTS vs. Rehband Knee Sleeves

I have a pair of gray Rehband knee sleeves that I like, but I've been having some knee pain lately. I'm thinking I need something with a little more support. Does anyone use EliteFTS Heavy Knee Sleeves? I think their Super Heavy sleeves would be too stiff for me.

The super heavy sleeves are retardedly stiff. I accidentally ordered them and couldn't even get them past my foot.

Do you have the regular heavy sleeves? How do they feel?

I do not. Since I am waiting to rotate back to the regular life I decided to wait.

I will say the super heavy's are GREAT on construction.

I have the Heavy Knee Sleeves. Never used the Rehband so I can not give any kind of comparision. I ordered the largest size they have and have found that after using them on and off for a few months they have actually become quite broken in. They still offer a little support but nothing like the first 4 or 5 times I used them. They are comfortable enough now to wear around the whole time I train if I choose where as previously I wanted to get them off immediately after the set.

ive used the efs heavy ones, I have them now. They seem to set in after a couple uses and then become a little stretchy. They get everything warm, and I've never had pain using them, but recently have stopped using them and used some old wraps, and knee pain is sort of resurfacing, so Im going back to the sleeves.

I have the blur rehbands and love them, but recently was given a pair of the elite super heavy sleeves because my training partner could not get them on. Since getting them I have quit using my rehbands for squats, the elite offer much more support. I have the 2xl which is a size up from what I need and they are still retarded tight. I still use my rehbands for everything else, because the elite make my feet go numb sometimes.

I got some Elitefts heavy knee sleeves, size XXL. They are more difficult than the Rehbands to get on. When they are on they feel a lot tighter and I can barely bend my knees. I think I will have to use them a few times before they become broken in. Because I can get them on, then they should be the right size and not too small, right?

                      Yes, sounds just right.

I can get on XLs but my feet go numb in about .02 seconds. I finally checked mine out and they are XXXLs. I can put them on and wear them around for about 30 minutes before I get tired and marginally uncomfortable.

I have some of the blue Rehbands but honestly I'm not crazy about them - I like open patella sleeves better. IMO sleeves should be used for a slight amount of compression and warmth. When you get into tight sleeves, you're pretty much trying to accomplish the same thing as wraps.

Also, I'm not sure if different sleeves will help your knee pain that much. You might want to investigate the cause a little further, rather than just addressing the effect.

I use Kono sleeves, I don't have any pain, I just use them for protection for my knees.

I have the xxl's and they are loose? how big are your guys legs? I have 30 inch quads and over 18in calves, and they arn't that tight on me, I can wear them from start to end of workout...

I'm in between a size Medium and Large for a pair of blue Rehband knee sleeves. Jackal's told me to get Medium if I want them to fit snug, but someone on another board said they thought that the Large fit tight. My gray Rehbands are size Large, but they might be sized different than the blue ones. Can anyone who has the blue sleeves help me out with choosing a size? Thanks.
