I have never used it-pretty popular with the endurance crowd such as marathoners and especially cyclists.
Very dangerous compound as it can basically coagulate the blood.
If memory serves correct it increases red cell counts and can cause clotting. I doubt it really serves any purpose in BB'ing.
Oxymetholone (aka Anadrol) is used clinically for blood disorders such as anemia as it too increases red cell production-probably not to the degree of EPO.Admin@ http://www.proactivehealthnet.com

EQ has a following of people that say it increases vascularity and red cell count...but since it is a vet drug there is no medicinal value for it in concerns to humans.
The catch on using A-50 and other AAS for "blood doping"-as in increasing the red cell counts-is that there will probably be a negative trade off in retaining water weight, which in most endurance type sports would probably be a disadvantage.
I would also be very cautious about using EQ and oxymetholone together....to many red cells leads to some serious health problems such as blood clots.
Anyone using oxymetholone or EQ would probably benefit from using garlic supps as it may improve the viscosity of the blood.Admin@ http://www.proactivehealthnet.com

Well I guess I will be the first one to answer yes on this question. I have used EPO before and I used it during my contest prep in 2002 for the Missouri State. I can tell you that EPO does do what it is intended to do and that is to increase red blood cell production to increase the amount of oxygen allowed to the muscles to increase stamina. I used mainly for my cardio sessions and I did feel that I was able to go father during intense cardio sessions than I would have if I hadn't used it. The one majoe thing I noticed about using EPO is that I retained some degree of water while using this. Overall I would say that using EPO for bodybuilding purposes is a 50-50 matter. You can if you want to but it really isn't necessary. If you are looking for increased red blood cell production so that you can acheive longer lasting and increased pumps then you are better off with compounds like anadrol-50 or EQ as they both increase red blood cell production the same was EPO does but for a fraction of the cost. EPO is quite expensive and in my opinon not really a necessity. But does it work, yeah it works and works well too.
