  • Rusty Jeffers turns pro!!!!

Congrats to a great man. Overall masters nationals winner. He has always helped out myself and other guys that just love bbing. Helped me dial it in for 2002 overall with those crazy lunges up and down the street..good times. Another AZ guy goes pro. Next will be Randy and if my leg could take it me!!! Seriously lets congrat Rusty he never conformed and did it his way. Man, He dialed it in for this one.

    Congrats Rusty!
Anyone can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right
person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose,
and in the right way, that is not easy.

VERY cool to see Rusty get the card. He totally deserved it, IMHO. A rightful twist after losing a popularity contest to Cook (harsh, but at least partially true, unfortunately.)

Now, as far as *me* getting a pro-card! Ummm... well, maybe if I blindsided ProDH w/ a 45lb plate when he was squatting, and stole it from his house while he was unconscious... Totally flattering, Mass, but my goals are more modest - I'd just like a top 10 finish in a nat. level show. Give me that, and I *know* I won't be satisfied (I never have been and never will be), but for now, that's the goal.

And forget about that bum wheel, my man. Make that f*^*er your bitch and bring it up bigger and better than before!

Big CONGRATS to Rusty. He looked awesome! I actually think he should of placed 1st in the SHW at the USA's over Cook. His conditioning was much better than Cook's was. I'm happy to see that he is now a Pro.

Was at the show, and Rusty did look solid. He was balanced head to toe and well conditioned. Was rooting for my pal Lance who won lhw, but Rusty was very deserving and am sure he will do well in the pros.

Unfortunately, there is no Masters O this year but hope Rusty can do GNC or 05 Ironman.

A big congrats to Rusty. He looked better than Chris Cook at the USAs, but hey, what do I know...!
I know how it is to be beat down by the judges on popularity...circa 2002 USAs...(cough, cough)

I hope he does do the Ironman in '05 with me and the GNC. It'll be a nice change to see a guy who put some serious time into getting where he is now.

Oh and a shout out to my man, Randy....hootie, hooo!

Yes, indeed - ya never know. We're actually the same age mass. Would be cool to be goin' head to head in the Master's Nat.'s in 7 years, eh?...

As far as posing from one side - it *can* be done and look very good.

Take care of that wheel, man. BB'ing is def. fun, that's for sure - in a well... *special* kinda way... LOL

Sounds good. Also, tell him I'm glad he managed to find some pro-tan before the night show at the USA's... LOL (He was doing his photo shoot at Gold's and was asking several of us where he could get some.)

Yes, at 260 on stage - oh, shit. I know he's been aroudn 245 on stage before (I think that was what they announced his weight as at the W. Regionals last year.) I'd bet he could be in the 280's off-season if he really wanted to...
