kidney infection?? ...symptoms??

ok, this is something serious guys...im not feeling well and i've been like this for the past 2 wks....has anyone here had a kidney infection before??

please, someone outline the sypmtoms to me ...please...what are the symptoms to a possible kidney infection??

yeah!!! my lower back is stiff as hell.. i've had this pain in my lower back for 2 wks now and when i urinate it burns...no blood, but it stings...oh sh*t, now im worried..

damm*t.....i have a show on saturday and im in the best shape of my life...why is it i have to climb a mountain everytime i compete??..man, im so pist i dont know what to do with myself...im gonna fight this out and go to the doc on monday after the show or else i'll just go to the ER after the show...

You should really go to the dr. ASAP. Leaving a kidney infection untreated is dangerous. If you've been hurting for 2 weeks, get your ass to the dr. now. I wouldn't wait until Monday. If you did have an infection, and it sounds like you do, you will be in alot more pain by then.

Hey buddy if you can at least start the meds today and then maybe skip them on Friday and Saturday maybe, but please go see the doc and tell him/her the situation and maybe they can give you something that won't mess with water or anything...

My 'guy' wants me to take tetracycline (think its like that) ...he says its an antibiotic to prevent infection...he says not to worry, it wont make me watery...what d'ya guys think?

Bro, that's a very strong antibiotic. You don't know if its an infection, unirinary tract infection or stones. Go to a doc. See what they say and give you. Ask your pharmacist for the drug insert for ANY medication they give you...on there you'll find ALL the technical info you'll need on that drug. Half life, dosage, side effects, etc. Then make your decision. Do not risk your kidney's and your future on a show which you make no money off....it doesn't make sense. Your health is #1!!!!! Go to a doc!

Z pack is zithromax. is comes in a small packet with 6 pills in it. it says to take 2 the first day and then one a day after that but my doc told me they have found that if you take two a day for three days it works just as well. i just used this to get over strep recently and this stuff is great.
