  • Dorian vs Ronnie

Just want to get some opinions......
Who do you think would win at the top of their game today?

    Ronnie or Dorian?

I know Ronnie has an unreal frame with size.....huge and is pretty tight...

but damn, Dorian was hard as steel and always in superb shape...and his freaking calves!!!!

I saw both compete in the O in 95 at Atlanta...I spoke with Ronnie after pre judging...he wasn't nearly as big then as he is now....so it isn't fair for me to compare them then.

i think if Dorian had not blown up his bi and other injuries...he might have the edge..

but Ronnie-man it is hard to say he would lose to anyone!

    What do you guys think?

At their best, I would have to say that Ronnie would take Dorian, but we'll never really know...

I still love those pics of Dorian in his socks more than damn near any pic I can think of. The look on his face is that of an unstoppable warrior, which he is.

I'd have to go with Dorian since he is my all-time favorite BB....but as homonunculus says " we'll never know".

Ronnie, ronnie all the way, he is untouchable, his physique at the Olympia in 2003 was a physique never seen before, and blows away any physique I've ever seen. He was incredible.

Based on that pic, it's Dorian hands down but against the 2003 Mr. O Ronnie, it would be a different story I agree. Look how the average pro BBer's quads are so much bigger these days. That's cool.

I like the responses..it truly would be a toss up.

You also have to take in consideration that the pics of Dorian are from 95-97 (his last year of competing) and that it is fair to say if he continued to train up to 2003 he certainly would have made some gains.
Ronnie does have some "cartoon like" muscle on him.

You know, it is too bad Flex Wheeler never got it "just right" like Dorian and Ronnie.....damn that guy was a freak!!

Ronnie in his 2003 shape was something previously unheard of; it took incredible guts (and a disregard for physical problems) to get to that point. It's probably safe to say that he could have beaten Dorian at his best, even tho I really like Dorian as a bodybuilder. Check out the pic posted by homonunculus for those darned quads on Ronnie - the man is a mastodon...
