  • Take a look at this diet

    I have a co-worker that has asked me to help her lose weight for her wedding next year. I told her I'd help outline a change in eating habits and give her some workout/cardio advice, but I wouldn't babysit her to make sure she did it.

    I started by asking her to write down everything she ate for one week and I would calculate calories, carbs, carbs from sugar, etc... Take a look at what she gave me......now wonder why she's put on 30 lbs of weight. I can't believe people eat like this and see now problems with it. :2guns:

    Keep in mind, this is what she eats in an entire day.

    well it seems she is right on track to a head turning body...

    does she even know remotely that her diet is garbage. it blows me away how uninformed people are on nutrition and sit around eating pop tarts and twinkies all day. i would say she is a lost cause, you are going to get yourself way in over your head with this one, and you'll end up frustrated in the end, because she doesn't know the difference between a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich.

      Does her poor bastard fiance know that the best possible way to put weight on a woman is to put a ring on her finger...guaranteed to pack on a good 20-30lbs....so if she's a porker beforehand he's gonna have his hands full....pun intended

        it happens as they get older, my ex girl packed on the freshman 15 during the first semester, had to dump her lol there should be an equation relating to how expensive the ring is to how much weight they are gonna put on, i think its like 10 pounds for every karat of gold

          I am trying to figure out if the food selection is worse than the fact that she drinks half of her calories in the form of soda pop. Holy shit. You should be able to work wonders with this woman if she can actually stay on the diet. Chances are, she can, because she would have to be pretty damned hungry all day, it would seem, on her current "diet".

                    I would have that baloney w/ *wheat* bread, not white bread, to lower the GI.

                            Yikes! Well, at least she has water in there! That's good. LOL. If she is really serious about this and wanting to look good for her wedding that is where she will get her motivation. That's really nice of you to help her out and keep us posted on her progress. Good luck!
