First, I want to let everyone know that I appreciate the support, the offers to hunt down any judges for whatever reason and all of the other things that have been offered to sooth me. lol However, I think you will be surprised at my take on the whole thing.
Before I get into the weekend I gotta admit that I don't like my pics being all over the fucking boards as soon as I get back. The few pics that were posted here are fine because a good friend of mine took them with the intention of posting them here. I don't know where the others have come from as that one that was supposed to be posted on MM was from the night show and no pictures were supposed to be taken at the night show because their was a professional photographer doing the shots for all competitors. If it was somone I know, I still would have appreciated that they weren't posted without my permission - especially at MM where I don't get to very often.
This is the most important part and NOT because any of the judges are here at IM or not. I didn't get shafted at all by the any of the judges that I am aware of. I did not see or feel anything political took place in at least my class as I didn't pay any attention to any other class. I got fair call outs (2nd call out) and was beaten by a veteran that was requalifying for nationals and the other guy I am not sure about as I haven't seen him before. I am going out on a limb here and will say that the top three were PROBABLY only a point or two away from each other. If any of the judges want to comment on this, please do and if I am wrong, I am wrong. I admit that I was disappointed with landing in 3rd place AGAIN this year. Who wouldn't be. I knew that I had improved on everything - conditioning, color, presentation, EVERYTHING. I did come in lighter but I doubt that anyone could tell after seeing my condition. I will put up one or two more shot from the back but hell, they might already be posted somewhere from the looks of it. *sigh*
To all that were there and have comments, I appreciate it. I would have spoken with the judges afterwards but I was in pretty bad shape the entire day. I pushed the envelope with a few things and was having problems with slightly blurred vision on and off and I had slept for almost 4 hours between prejudging and the night show. I was exhausted and figured that I KNEW I would get to talk to at least 3 of you judges at the gym. ; )
I THINK I have Island Girl figured out for sure and I think Crimson Ghost knows Island Girl better than he and they are letting on but I can't be sure.
I have no idea what I am going to do as of now. I don't want to compete again any time soon and probably not next year, either. I need size and I am tired of a 4-6 month offseason and then start prepping again only to make very little changes in my size. I really need to take a year or so and add some size and enjoy being a bit healthier than I am when I prep. Hopefully, I won't get sick this time around. I feel pretty good so far.
Thanks again for all of your support but I blame no one. I did everything I could to be my best and I WAS. I was simply beaten - that's it.
