  • Got my bloodwork results(any thoughts)

I got my bloodwork done a few weeks ago and got the results. I didn't like the results but maybe you people who are smart in this field could give me some advice(Randy).
-I have one elevated liver enzyme
-cholesterol was 206, likes it at 200 or less
-I have a low HDL(30) would like it 45 or greater(cardio can bring this up
-LDL was 145 and the goal is 130
-moderate elevation in the blood test CRP. Indicates a future risk of cardio vascular disease.

-I have a family history of high cholesteral so I wasn't all that surprised there. The liver enzyme has me thinking though.

Can anyone offer some good advice? Thanks!

When did you get your bloodwork done in relation to any anabolic cycles you may have done? I know that my liver enzymes become elevated if I take anything but return to normal levels when i come off

TH, What Liver Enzyme was high AST=SGOT or ALT=SGPT, these can be elevated even if not "on" just from lifting or a high protein diet.

Yes I would try to get cholesterol down below 200 how is your diet. Are your Triglycerides high?.

LDL you can take in more EPA and Flax seed may help out some, if it is a family thing it will be tough to fight it but it can be done, did you by any chance have a VLDL result?...

I would recommend using a high quality herbal prep for the elevated liver values...Milk thistle is a great one -don't get any GNC stuff or Wally world brands-go to an acupuncturist, legit herb shop, or a naturopth for this.

Cholesterol is perhaps misunderstood by mainstream medicine. I have read a bit of interesting literature put forth by several MD's who say there are more people that have heart attacks with a total cholesterol under 200 as opposed to over 200.

Perhaps the best indicator of heart disease is homocystiene levels.....homo-c "corrodes" vascular tissue and then the body begins laying down plaque to minimize the damage.

Also-the liver does in fact manufacture cholesterol (a reason why anti-cholesterol drugs have a poor effect)...and cholesterol is the "mother steriod" as many hormones are in fact crerated from cholesterol.

If you are concerned about heart disease cut back your sodium and stay away from fried foods and foods cooked with intense heat-scrabled eggs for instance. This is how homo-c is generated-fried foods and cooking with high heat....if you have to eat these foods just make sure you increase your vit-B intake...folic acid especially helps to neutralize homocystiene.

I am running test prop(arimidex mixed w/ it), tren/and bol at the moment. Bloodwork was done when I was "off". I took my last dose of nolva a week before my visit.
