Randy - We didn't do the GVT tonight, maybe next week. If you ask me, I think KR was scared (don't tell him I said so). lol!!

We did a mini version of our 100 rep workout.

Lying leg curls - 50 reps
            Leg extensions - 50 reps
            Leg presses - 50 reps
            Squat - 20 reps
Stiff legged db 12 reps (2 sets)

All weights were approx 60% of normal weights.

              MM,

Sounds splendid. I recall some of the old posts on your famed leg workouts. How often do you do these high rep workouts?... I presume all sets are taken to failure, maybe in a rest-pause fashion?... [If so, I am pretty certain that I couldn't get away with that more than a few times a year - the overtraining and underloading (low weights I'd have to use) would do me in...]

R- last time we did it was around January so yes only a few time throughtout the year. And that is 1 set of 50 reps sorta a rest-pause, for example you typically can get 20 reps solid for the 1st run , then pause a few seconds grind out another 5 or 10, so on......we get toward the end you get maybe 1-3 reps at a time if you chose the correct weight. The key is we DO NOT get off the machine or set down the weight till we hit 50, period!
