It's kind of strange, I've been dieting since early january for the show I did in April. Then since decided to compete again in June so continued my diet, except for a week in florida while on vacation. My weight was dropping more even though I am effectively already shredded so I've added calories. Now, for whatever reason (I'm guessing the extra calories) my strength has been going up the past 2 weeks! I'm using weights now that I normally use in the off-season when I weigh 20lbs more! Maybe there's a point where the body adjusts to the weightloss and says wtf, might as well be strong again....lol :showoff:

It isn't as rare as alot of guys think it is. When everthing is perfectly balanced and you aren't having to strip off too much fat every week, it certainly can happen.

Very possible.
Sounds like, with the added kcal, you're getting a scaled down version of the post-show rebound gains in strength that many of us know and LOVE!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a pristine, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, used up, worn out, and shouting, "Holy #$&^%$^... What a ride!!!"
