  • Question about vascularity?

    Ive been noticing that when Im on my low carbs days. especially my last low carb day, Im much more vascular and harder than when Im carbed up.. can anyone expand on possibly why this is?

    Maybe water retention?

    this maybe something for me to consider precontest....

    my gues is yes water. carbs hold water and since you are probably not making a concious effort to restrict sodium at this point when carbed up there is a fair amount under the skin.

      What kid said....he is correct.....I look best on my last low carb day and then 2 days after eating carbs

        Sounds like it to me. What kind of foods (sodium wise) are you using for your carb-ups.

        Maybe you might try using some w/ lower sodium content and see how this affects your vascularity, etc...
