I am considering doing my first cycle and i was thinkign of keeping it real simple and just do a test only cycle( when im done leaning up that is lol) And i wanted to know what your guys opinions are on going at a first cycle hard since its your receptors are fresh and you can really get alot out of the first. Compared to just taking it nice and slow since its your first you wont need much to grow. I have 2 friend that took Test cyp for a first cycle and did 250mg once a week for 10-12weeks and put on some good size for example. So im wondering what approach i should take.

Thanks for the response..... Well if i go ahead and lean up naturally like i am now i will use it as a bulk but i dont want to get sloppy by anymeans put on some quality muscle weight with minimal fat gain. But i know some fat will come bulking. I would be happy gaining a good 15-20pounds from the cycle which i know isnt always easy im just wondering what approach is better to take becuase i hear so many differnet opinions on how to take a first cycle but many are advising me to take low amounts becuase you just dont need alot at first.Comment

My opinion:
For Bulking, Test and Dbol would be a fine base to start from. 500mg of test cyp or enanth and 20-30mg dbol/day. get som HCG and clomid to fnish up with.
I would recommend:
15 weeks on. 3- 4weeks PCT
Eat clean but eat alot: 2xBW in protien.
Do basic lifts- simple but heavy.
Powerlifting is great for size and thickness.
and remember ..Rome wasnt built in a day.

Yea i will consider going that route , should i take the split it up like a Mon and Thur injections or can i just do all 500 in one shot since the half live is so long of enathate and cyp. And have you heard of pepole doing a first cycle with lower dosages then 500 and getting good results or is 250-300mg per week just to low?Comment

I used 600mg Test Enanthate (split the shots up 2x a week) and 30mg of dbol for my first and blew up...Not saying this is the way to go...but just giving another example. Used Letro throughout as well.
I like what Sweaty said and would probably consider that route as well...Good luck..

I am another vote for sweaty's advice, very solid. I wouldn't recommend going lower than 500mg's per week. Maximize this first one, keep that diet in check and you'll get the results you're looking for.Anyone can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right

Thanks guys i appreciate all the feedback.... I guess i just have to lean up naturally so i can start this asap. I wanted to know what your guys take is on using just test only cycle to lean up? I mean if you diet with it should keep what i have and put alittle on right? Or should i just leave it for a bulker for a first. Im just getting frustrated with my progress leaning up that i was Considering using it to cut but i just keep hearing that it would be a waste. What do you guys think?
p.s. it would have to be Test E or cyp because i dont beleive im ready to do prop or any other test that needs more frequent injectionsComment

Bro, my first cycle was 400mg LFC Test Enan for 10 weeks and I gained almost 30lbs. I have before/after pics on another board, I can send you a link in a couple days when the boards back (under construction, should be online in a day or two).
IMO, there is no need for the Dbol, test only should give you some nice gains and if you keep the dose around 400-500mg you should make some great gains with little-to-no sides.Comment

You can certainly use a testosterone product to get leaner....most AAS will act as an anti-catabolic which will help you retain muscle when dieting down. I personally am not familiar with using test as my only compound to get leaner. Something else to consider-Test E or Cyp will retain some water....so you may not appear as "cut" as you would like. Just to let you know-prop seems to retain less water than E or Cyp.
My advice to you is to use the test at around 500 mg/wk in 2 doses approxiamately 3-3.5 days apart. I would increase caloric intake, especially protien, and try to put on weight. If you are concerned about your BF% then add some cardio.
Something else to consider-as you put on lean body mass-muscle-your Basal Metabolic Rate will increase. This in itself will burn fat-the more muscle you have the more calories your body has to consume just to stay alive.
Let's say you like to go hiking. Just for numbers sake lets say you burn 250 calories per hour hiking for one hour this afternoon. If you put on 20-25 pounds of muscle, when you go hiking for an hour you will burn 300 plus calories to accomplish the same amount of work. Increasing muscle means you will automatically begin to burn more calories.
As time goes on and you stick around here and gather info there is a good chance you will learn about some fat cutting compounds also.

Thanks for the input SS.... I know i sound like a rookie by my post but i know a fair amount of AAS but im still learning every dayYea the only reason i dont feel comfortable with the prop is the fact of the frequent injections i think i need to get use to it first. And a Test only cycle sounds good as well the only concern i have is i heard dbol is pretty dam tuff on the hair and alot of bloat anyone care to comment? Im 25 with a full set of hair no signs of it going away. But it is something that concerns me about AAS use.

Man am i getting excited just thinking about GROWING! lol My only concern is the sides and i dont wanna sound like a sissy but do you think that if ive gone this long without loosing any hair that i should be ok? Bald look is not for me thats for sure lol I was told that you look at your mothers side of the family is this true, if so im good to go. And do you guys experience more of a water weight gain with dbol or can it be controlled by diet?Comment
