I guess if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.
On Monday I started my new diet. I planned on eating about 10 cals per pound of bodyweight. 40% protein, 45% carbs, 15% fat. The protein works out to be 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. So I am psyched up!! Lets lose the parka.

I go to the dentist Monday morning so I don't get to eat breakfast until 1100. He says I need a wisdom tooth pulled. Let's go I say.

The rest of the day is great, eat clean, great workout etc. Then I go to work...

Shit rolls downhill from there. My mouth is killing me, I take two excedrin because the only other thing available is naprosyn(hard on stomach). I eat tuna and rice at 5:30 pm. During a case at 7:00 pm my stomach is hurting like I haven't eaten all day. So I eat more tuna rice and pineapple. This pain keeps up all night long. I slept maybe 2 hours total. I was pissed.

I go to work in the morning and end up in the ED. I thought my gall bladder was at work, but they say it is gastritis. I can't figure out what caused it. The aspirin? Is my body rejecting good food? Now I am on pepcid twice a day for 3 weeks. They gave me morphine in the ED which wiped me out for the day. How do people like to feel like that? The only other thing I can think of is that I took 2 clen tablets that day around 1:00 pm. My gastric tract is usually pretty quick though. If it is the clen I think It would bother me before 7 pm. This sucks. It hurts to eat anything. Oh well, I'll have to suck it up.

I have never had any trouble with my stomach before. I can count the number of times on one hand how many times I have taken tums in my entire life.

They did lab work on me at the hospital. Everything was normal except for my ck level. It was 689!! The doctor attributed this to me working out on Monday. Doggcrapp really works!!

Aspirin will irritate the GI but it would certainly take more than one day of use for it to cause any problems.

It may be related to your wisdom teeth and or pain.

There exists a relationship b/n our teeth and acupoints for specific organs....could have some involvent.
Your stomache problem could have been related to the pain.

I was at the ER in October with a gall bladder problem....just super intense pain from hell for 3 hours. I blew chunks several times and I am pretty sure it was due to the pain.

I am very suprised to read the dentist did not at least give you a pain med.

Thanks for the replies. It's funny that you guys mention the pain meds. The people I work with couldn't believe it either. It feels much better today and suprisingly enough, so does my stomach at this point. I will probably see a GI doc just to be sure though. It sucks getting older. I'm still young and little shit just pops up.
