  • Nausea after leg workouts

This has happened twice to me. First time was 'bout a month ago. I did 3x8 sets of squats, then i did another 3x8 on the leg press. By the end of it, i was feeling sick so my wife and I had to cut our workout a bit short. It happened again today, but this time, i got through my workout, and I just felt nausea. It always happens when I workout legs, but these 2 days were the worst. I usually just have one scoop of muscle milk, half a scoop of creatine before I work out. Also this is my usual leg routine:

    Squats 4x8
    Leg Press 3x8
    SLDL 2,3x8
    Leg Curls 3x10
    Leg Ext 3x10
    calf machine 3x25
and sometimes leg abductor( or adductor ) something like that.

Anyone else feel like this also after working out?

Oh yeah! Thant's when you know you had a good workout.

Are you getting enough water throughout the day? You're mixing the muscle milk with water, right?

It will get better the more you workout. But yes, legs are the only day where I come close to puking at times.

skip the muscle milk and get some isolate and an apple. Helps me a lot. Then grab an additional 75 grams of isolate pw

Log Book PIMP! It ain't a crime if it likes it!

Ok, was just wondering if yall get the same experience too. Yeah, I take the muscle milk with water, and I get plenty of water throughout the day. I'm working on getting the whey, little short on cash right now, but I'll try that apple and whey thing when I do get some. Thanks.

I was feeling so nausea this morning, I forgot to ask my other question
Whenever I do cardio in the morning, usually consist of running around the block...just a normal steady jog, then some HIT mixed in, i get really tired when I get home. I mean...i get back, take off my shoes and when I lay on the couch, my eyes just want to shut. I have a hard time keeping my eyes open. I don't have a pre-shake on my cardio days, just 1 or 2 full glasses of water.

NOW you know when you work your legs is when you are sick afterwards!!! I used to run track and get the same way....but watch the pre workout stuff that is main culprit of your ailments!

Feeling like you want to puke after a leg workout is fairly common. Sounds like it's a sign you're probably pushing yourself pretty hard. Like HB suggested change up your pre-workout meal and see if that helps.

As far as feeling really sleepy in the morning after cardio try taking some thermogenics when you wake up. This should help get you going and will keep you going after cardio.

Split your legs into 2 days-calves/hams and quads-go balls out(your wife should be embaressed and threaten to quit training with you!)-and keep the garbage can close

Oh yes, training is great, but I have to say the amount of weight that I squat aint hardcore Some of yall can bench twice or even three times the weight I squat.

gettin sick or felling nausia while workin legs is a common thing. It does mean your getting a good workout in and your busting your ass. just keep a trash can close if it gets bad and don't go home early. don't lift legs on a full stomach and don't drink too much water during your workout cuz sometimes that will make it worse. also I would take a hat off if you wear one while workin legs cuz it will keep all that heat in.

Welcome to hardcore training dude. If I'm not dizzy or my legs are wobbly after a leg workout, I didn't have a good workout. I try to take protein at least an hour before my workout, and no solid food. Creatine and a shot of Nitrogenx right before and I'm good to go. Also drink plenty of water during your workout. Sometimes after a particularly hard work out, I'm totally busted for about 2 hours before I can do anything, so I just lay down.
