  • Side thought from my other thread..... Who here....

Goes on a see food diet for gaining mass (YOU EAT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE)?? And who trys to keep the fat lower, to help them stay lean???

Throw some ratios of protein, carbs, and fats my way if you want..... I just want to start thinking about my next mass gaining phase...... I am considering going to DC training and trying it out....

Personally I kinda watch my fats and such. But mostly it's a see food diet. I just know what I shouldn't go overboard on. All the crap in moderation.

I'm tend to keep it as structured as possible with "clean" food, buts lots of it. Nothing junky. It's worked well

See food with a priority on protein. I stay away from french fries or anything else deep fried. No simple sugars except for post workout drink. 300-400g protein minimum. I am unsure of ratios.

See food and avoid sugars, fried stuff, hydrogenated foods.

Let me see. I am usually only allowed into people's houses when I am in pre-contest mode. Off season, everyone mysteriously seems to be out when I visit...

not too much bread, sugar, and fried foods, otherwise it's fair game. Of course when bulking there are cheat meals where anything goes, but not right before bed.

I used to be an old school "Cram endless calories into your mouth" kinda guy but since my last show I changed my approach alot. I eat cleaner and even rotate my carb levels throughout the week to stay leaner. My strength is down a bit but I'm not a powerlifter. I figure it will make it easier for me next time I diet for a show.

At 40 time is of the essence so my last bulker was 450g protein plus whatever I wanted to get to 5k calories-pop tarts-oatmeal cookies and ice cream sandwiches-true I got to my heaviest at 286 and the cutting has been difficult but the size gains have been outstanding(will be 8-10 pounds heavier on stage)-if I was 30 I'd stay lean and clean but I really feel the clock is ticking!!

I'm definitly the see food guy. When I'm bulking I only count protien grams everything else is fair game.

I'm with rippedchef - same approach. Usually, after a show, I don't get too sloppy b/c I'll grow w/o the junk, but as my wt. starts to plateau, my trips to McDonald's become more frequent...
