  • I'm dying to start going for muscle gains again.....

Well..... I was going for mass, and gettin a gut..... So I was dying to go on a diet........ Now I am dieting and leaning out but I am dying to gain some strength and mass again....... LOL

Does it go this way for everyone???

I am worried that I will move to quickly from my dieting phase to a mass building phase and will put the fat right back on...... I would prefer to stay lean if possible.......

So how bout some opinions?? How long should I wait after cutting before I go for mass again....... And who thinks I should run a low dose of T3 during my mass building stage to help stay lean??

You are in the same boat as 95% of us are in. A wise man once told me "you gotta get fat to get big!" It hold true for most of us. You will be happy you bulked real good once you diet down b/c you will be more dense. I hate being lean, I prefer the bulky look. The only time i lean out is when I am preparing for a show and that's it! This probably isn't the answer you are looking for but it is true!

First, just keep in mind that this is the "wah wah stage", when your mind will tell you all kinds of fairy tales just to get you back to the good food. We have all been there. You just wah wah at everything you do because you feel so rotten on a diet. If you are leaning out, get lean, enjoy some time not looking like Bubba the Beached Beluga, then get back to your off season eating schedule. But do not interrupt the diet just because your mind is sending you messages of low carb induced panic.

Second, I would not treat T3 lightly, it's not a medication to abuse. First, I would not take it long term, the possible repercussion are too serious and second, you don't need it in the offseason at all. In the offseason, just grow like Topsy the Cat my friend. Trying to add muscle while staying lean is like racing a dragster with the chute open.

keep a reasonable amount of cardio in your bulking phase, or use a fairly clean diet with only a few cheat meals per week.

I'm only a few weeks into my cutting and I'm in the same boat. Just hang in there. If you're anything like me before to long you'll adapt to the diet and all will seem natural again.
