          I prefer curl grip pulldowns Dorian style as I feel it in my lats 10 times more. Also, heavy bb rows can't be beat!

                      if u do ur rows with a close grip or v-bar it allows the elbows to pulled back further which really hits the scapula infraspinatus, teres major and minor. all contribute to width.

                      rows with an undergrip target the lats much more effientiently, while overgrip stress the scapuls and those muscles.

                      also, a very often overlooked exercice called a reverse shrug. it't function is to depress the scapula adding to over all width. simply get on the pulldown machine and grab the bar at any point wide/close/in between or a set of each, and without bending the arms, shrug the weight down moving only the scapula.

                        I tried those rack chins today they were great. Got nice and pale in the face since I am cutting carbs for a show he he!

                              here is a link to a description of a rack chin. they are by far the best exercise for back width (if done correctly). i curse dante's name 2 days after doing them, i sometimes call out of work to recover, lol.
