  • skull crusher accident today....

    I watched this very large man (not terribly muscular but large in a "pro wrestling" sort of way) at the gym today do lying tricep extensions with about 225. He was looking cool as hell as he hit 4... 5.... 6.... *POP* - *POP* AUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

    Fucker tore the tricep on his left arm.

    I just kept on training with my little weights.....

      Well, that's debatable. I mean, the triceps ( at least one of them ) obviously was NOT strong enough. LOL

                        I see people do this kind of thing all the time at my gym. They end up doing half reps just so they can push up twice the weight they can handle only to "look" strong in the gym. This will be a tough lesson for that guy.

                          NOw that I'm slighly more awake - did he actually perform the exercise per its moniker: Did he crush his skull when the tri blew out?...

                              No, he got lucky in that he was taking the bar to slightly above his head instead of to the forehead. It just went crashing to the floor.
