  • MCT's

I just want to know if the hoopla behind MCT's (medium chain triglycerides) is all that it is cracked up to be?

I use Muscle Milk MRP's (with a couple of scoops of pure protein blended in) because MM is loaded with MCT's.

Back in the day MCT oil was the "in" thing.....Stands to reason with the low carb approach by many that MCT's might be beneficial.

Supposedly MCT's are not stored as bodyfat....or at least they don't have the propensity to be stored as BF like the long chains are.

What do you peeps think about MCT's??

I am bumping this....kinda curious too. I love the taste of Muscle Milk, but was weary due to the fat content.

I heard from a guy at the gym about companies putting a compound called glycocyamine into NO supplements. I did some research on the net and this is bad stuff!! It may increase your risk for cardiovascular disease. Since I found out this info have been looking at the ingredients at several NO products and have found that almost all of them contain glycocyamnine (also known as guanidiniacetate).

I thought I would share this information in hopes that it reaches some people. Below is a link to an atricle at T-nation..

MUSCLEMILK HAS THIS IN IT AS WELL
