  • Napping is my new way to build!

I was wanting to see how many people take a 30 min-1 hr. nap during the day? I have been doing it for a while and it really refreshes me and makes me recover a lot more. i have never thought that rest could play such an important role in muscle building but it does. Anyone else here avid nappers?

I like to get a 30 minute power nap when I can.....Anybody got some info that napping increases GH release or something?

Seems like a long time ago I read something about that.

I'll sometimes catch a 20 - 30 minute nap myself. Always feels so good and refreshed afterwards..

I used to love second shift because I could workout in the am, cook all my meals and eat, then nap. After that I could go to work and feel good about myself. Can't do that on first. It has taken a while to get my routine down. Still haven't found time for a quick nap though. I think I am going to sneak in a pillow and blanket and find a good hiding place

I always read that gh is released when you're in a deep sleep ...REM time.

But any extra sleep you can get is good for growing. I don't take naps because it throws me off so much. I just try to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.

I get good sleep through the night. At least 8 hours, sometimes more.

I can't nap durring the day, it just dosen't work out for me. I end up sleeping too long or just lose motivation to do anything when I wake.

You lucky bastards!!! I can't even remember what it's like to catch a nap anymore!!

I try to keep a pretty tight schedule of sleeping at least 8 hours each night. The same goes for the weekend.

I usually fall asleep on the floor watching TV around 6pm for about 20 minutes every night. I am up until 2pm doing computer work, usually, so it fits in nicely as a little cat nap.
