    Here's a good one..

    The median price for a home where I live is now 468,000. That will buy a 3 bedroom 2 bath on a small lot..maybe 1200- 1800 square feet of house. About average..
    Just curious..what will that buy where you live?

              2000 square feet. middle class neighborhood big front and back yard $130-140K

                IN the bay area, you have to pay about 400,000 for a 4 bedroom 2 bath in a not so great area or city. If you want to live in a nice city around where I live, look to pay 600-700,000 for the same deal.

                    You can't even rent in SF. Cost you an arm and a leg. I heard of someone paying 2,200 a month for a studio. A STUDIO!!!

                          468,000 where I live will get you 3500-5500 sq ft, loaded up with the nice shiit (pool, wood floors, granite counter tops, etc...)

                            my house was 180,000 and is only 1936 sq ft, but it's in a private community. I don't even have to mow the grass. Homeowners association fees are 136 per month
