  • Sick of this ?

I can not count how many times someone asked me at work:
Hey dude will you help me out getting in shape?
First thing I say is GET THAT DAMN CANCER STICK OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.
Usually the response is I tried but I just can't.
I say well our first and last session is over.
Anyone else get this a lot?

I get quite a lot of that too at work. For the most part, I keep my mouth shut but for a couple of people, I've shared some thoughts.

He...he...he I bump them all to The Munster with "I haven't the slightest idea what works and what doesn't. I just follow what The Munster (obviously not this name in the conversations. lol! Hmmm...that might stop them from asking anymore. ) says to do. Ignorance is bliss. :p

I'm helping one woman at work who asked me for help. She wants to lose about 30 lbs before her wedding next summer. I'm helping her change the way she eats and to make better food decisions each day. I was upfront and told her I wouldn't chase her down if she didn't follow my suggestions and she would have to make the changes herself. I'm only offer my support and guidance if she needs it.

I've had a couple other women joke about me helping them with changing their eating habits, but noone has approached me in a serious fashion.

You forgot to mention that the woman is actually changing her eating habits.

I get the "you must have a fast motabolisum" or the "you probably don't have to work at being skinny" or "you're just lucky". Wrong!!!

Mark you have been helping this lady for some time now, haven't you? Whats the update?
Anyone can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right
person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose,
and in the right way, that is not easy.

I see this chick in the gym pretty much a regular.
She came up to me and aked how she could loose 25 pounds
by Thanksgiving. (since I have seen she lost a FEW pounds I
would not mind helping) Well I wrote her a diet and she says
I have to go out this weekend so I'll start next week.
I said HERE WE GO! Well 3 weeks later she comes up to me
and asks what do I think about winstrol to cut.
I said for what you want that is not the way to go. Anyway she bought it anyway
and is asking me all these questuions I Finally said " LISTEN TAKING OR
NOT TAKING YOU MUST EAT RIGHT TOO BOTTOM LINE" I have not seen her in
a week now. WTF. people suck. lol

I've found that giving people free advice is a waste of my time.....Got to charge them for it or they place no value on what you're telling them

i've heard you say that before, so i tried it..lol. and it worked (of course you know it works, but others may not). there is this one lady that i have made full, progressive programs specifically for her about 4 different times...for free, explained everything including diet for free, demonstrated everything for free..... well, i wasnt about to charge her since that lady is my mom..lol. but just for the sake of trying it, she asked me again, yes the fifth time and i explained that each time i do this it takes up hours worth of time. so this time i had her pay me (no, i did not charge her much at all) just to see if there was a difference. she lasted alot longer after paying (of course she did not follow the outline well, but got some results then just stopped and it's been like that for a few weeks.. and now i bet has lost all adaptations to her previous workouts). it seems like anytime i explain something to her, it goes right in one ear and out the other..... frustrating b/c i really do want to help.
