I know the name of a real good realtor in California if you're looking to relocate. For listing your Florida property I can think of the name of a real good realtor on that end too. Good luck Floridians!

Hey everyone ~ we (my b/f, his kids and some friends) have been working our arse's off for the last 24 hours getting ready for Hurricane Jeanne. This looks pretty bad. From what I understand Pt. St. Lucie (where I live) is going to get a direct hit. That's what the news has been reporting. I am NOT looking forward to this since, we had a direct hit from Hurricane Frances and that was a Cat 2. Currently, they're reporting Jeanne as a Cat 3, but they stated that there's a strong possibility that it will reach Cat 4 by the time she hits us.

We're pretty set. We have a great generator, plenty of food, etc;, good storm shutters, but to be honest, I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't nervous.

I'll try to keep you guys updated if you're interested in how things are going ~

If I don't see ya's, it's cause the phone lines went down.

Hugs and best wishes to all in her wake!

Hi everyone! We're okay. At one point, the gusts were 150 mph. The front double doors are on an inswing and I sat on a toolbox for an hour covered with a blanket in case the glass broke.

My b/f didn't allow his son to sit there LOL....noooooooooo, but as I look at the whole friggen mess, it's okay that I sat there.

NOT GOOD! Soooooooo, I've got some serious thinking to do here. I'm just glad that we're all okay physically, but mentally, I've had enough.

SM ya'll are so very lucky. Glad your house is still standing. from what i've seen on the news there's lots of homeless out there now.

I personally have donated blankets & clothes for the hurricane victims. I really wish i could do more.
