  • THE best restaurant to get HUGE

If you are looking to put down about 250+ grams of delicious quality protein and mix in the BEST salad bar you have ever been to, find yourself a Brazilian BBQ. All you can eat! About a dozen different BBQ meat selections brought to your table, and a salad bar that includes things like caviar, chilled shrimp, mussles on the half shell, smoked salmon, a variety of salamis, a dozen varieties of cheese to go along with the greens and soups. Here is my fav and they have a few around the country.
Reserve a table at our Brazilian steakhouse; where the traditions of Brazilian churrasco blend with the generous spirit of Texas hospitality.

FIND ONE NEAR YOU, you won't regret it.

I've eaten at one in the Denver area, and one in San Antonio. I have never been so exquisitely, miserably full in my entire life.

Wait it's only $10 per person? The local brazillian bbq are $40 per and I'd rather just go to shady maple

My area will be getting one in 2017

We went to the Fogo de Chao in Beverly Hills. It made for some interesting people watching.

Went to Texas de Brazil for my wife's office party. The meats were good...some a bit salty but still delicious. The various salads were great...not your usual salad bar. I tried their rice and black beans (feijoiada). Nope, don't waste your time with that. It might be good but I'm spoiled I guess. My wife is Argentine but grew up in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. All her friends in Hampton Roads area are Brazilian. Anyway, the restaurant here in Norfolk was very crowded. It costs $30-40 per person which is extremely high but for the amount of meat you get, it could be worth it.

Just one caveat....don't be surprised if you see a lot of obese people and maybe even one or two megaweights there. When we got there there was one young guy and his wife already eating. He was at least 600-700lbs (judging by the size of the people on Discovery channel's my 600lb life). She would get his salad plates and the servers kept bringing the meat.

Another place to go if you're a bodybuilder and want to get huge...or your just fat and want to get bigger is the Cheesecake factory. Only been there twice in my life, but I swear the last time we went we were the thinnest customers in the whole restaurant. Even the table next door had 2 middle school age looking boys who outweighed me by far and I was around 210 then. When I go to buffets and places like that, I'm both disturbed and jealous all at the same time.

Love TDB but taking the family there costs me over 400 bucks so I quite taking the kids. lol At 60 bucks or more each, it just isn't a great idea for 6 people and a tip.

Stay away from the strawberry lemonade. We were visiting my son in San Antonio right after he graduated basic training back in 2010. We had 8 people at our table at TBR. I guess we drank 6-7 pitchers of strawberry lemonade - no alcohol just straight-up lemonade. They charged us almost $30 per pitcher. That's the most money I think I've ever spent on an evening without: a) getting too drunk to breathe, or b) seeing a lot of boobs.

I LOVE Brazilian BBQs. My girlfriend is Brazilian, and where we live in there are a lot of Brazilian communities around (Massachusetts). If any of you guys/girls are in the Boston Area on Business, check out Fogo De Chao. It is like a High end version of the mom and pop bbqs. I always load up on the sausage, picanha and of course chicken wrapped in bacon.

Another good one is Chipotle (or anything like that). Meat, beans, rice, cheese... what else do you need to know?? It is dirt cheap too.

I live in south Florida, so most of the joins around here a ethnically diverse. The Brazilian bbq I go to is a mom and pop gig in a plaza. Prob only seating for thirty. Very cheap. They have some crazy sausages though. All of the meat cuts are supper fatty.

But for 10 bucks its absolutely insane

The deep fried plantains are disgusting. haha. I thought it was a fried potato.
