Well, the first meeting with my dad never happened. He never showed up...nor did he call. I guess that is the answer I prayed for. Life as normal and I can go on. I was too stressed anyway. And yes, I am trying to look on the bright side to cope.

I am going through the same thing as you are/were Future. My dad and I were never really "close" but he cheated on my mom and I didnt talk to him for almost 3 years and now hes back here saying he wants to spend more time with me but yet the last time I ehard from him was almost 2 months ago. I stopped calling. No need for me to sweat over a guy that doesnt wanna call me or do anything with me.
