  • I was thinking...

I have had many many IM injections form doctors, even AAS from doctors years ago. I just realized I have NEVER EVER had a doctor aspirate the syringe before injecting. I too never aspirate, not that YOU shouldnt, but do you think it necessary if doctors never do it???

subsenquently....isnt it kind of hard to apirate my yourself?

I always aspirate... I like to be on the safe side, even though it may not be a big risk to do wrong.

I always always aspirate. It is so easy no matter what site you are injecting. You are totally right about the doctors though. However the last shot I recieved was for Hep. B immunization and the nurse aspirated so much I thought she was gonna pull the damn plunger right out. Damn!!!

I wondered the same thing about docs/nurses but I do aspirate anyway.

interesting, now that it was brought up, I don't recall a doc or nurse aspirating either. I think I will continue to do so myself.

I believe that most docs do actually aspirate, but they just flick the plunger back so quickly then plunge forward.....

But even if they don't.... I certainly do..... It takes no time at all, and since I have mainlined once, I want to be as careful as possible.....

For those of you who have never done this.... let me tell you it is a ver scary feeling.... Kinda feels like your about to die.... and you can't stop coughing.....

Come to think of it when I had my HepB vacanation I don't think they asperated. I guess they figure you're in a hospitol if they screw up they can fix it.

I always aspirate but I really don't think it is all that necessary.

I think tren is the only compound where it is necessary....
my theory is if it is "mainlined" it ends up in the lungs in a high concentration and the cough follows.
My theory could be wrong....but it is very interesting that fina cough happens so quickly. Sometimes even in the middle of the injection.
