  • On hollidays, no gym, alternative exercises.

Recently went O/S for a holliday. The hotel "Gym" consisted of a bike and walking machine. No other gyms existed in the area.

Alternatives were sort. I did the usual chins on poles and handstand pushups as well as people sitting on my back pushups.

Legs was hardest though I found this exercise ( now known as "Family Pool Squats - Ass to Filter") hit the quads well. Of course with every exercise breathing correctly is important but with this exercise it is essential.

That pool is only 1.5m deep so I am near the bottom position. Some people lazing poolside took the photo during my set as they thought it was funny and then asked if we wanted it.

Please note that though they had no diving, nudity, and peeing in the water sings this was not specifically forbidden.

All in fun, if exercise is not fun then you are not doing it right. Our family is fairly competative, we were all seeing how we could keep active, apart from just swimming and walking. Seeing who could do the most chins etc.

The eldest boy can out sprint me so I got to win where I can.

P.S. I think it should be obvious my wife is fairly strong. She weighs 50kg, the boy on top the same and the next one up 25kg, so whilst I'm Squatting she is static holding 1 and a 1/2times her bodyweight.
