Hey everyone. Just wanted to check in. We made through another hurricane. We got a lot of hard wind and rain and only some minor damage. Two sections of our privacy fence blew down, and the steel lacking bars on our garage were bent.

We will be gone for Ivan if he comes this way. We are suppose to leave on our cruise this Thursday. I'm sure it will be a rough trip with Ivan out there tearing up the seas.

I have called several times, including a few minutes ago and Royal Caribbean has not canceled the cruise yet. I kind of hope they do!

we didn't buy the insurance, so the only way will cancel is if Royal Caribbean cancels and refunds our money.

Latest call: their customer service rep said they are going out this Thursday, but they may just go out to sea away from the storm for 5 days as oppose to going to the ports of call. Of course we will get a discount coupon for 50% off our next cruise because of it.

Reminds me of my last cruise....except we stopped at all of the ports and I only saw one island as we were leaving it... :rocker:
