In it, he admits to having a fake PhD (which he received accidentally and used to establish a career, while never having actually graduated, haha), robbing a motel, and being banned for life from Disneyland. His wife has corroborated all his claims, haha.

MD's and DO's practice medicine. Phd's can be obtained in many fields including what he claimed, electronic engineering.

I really can't stand all the internet geniuses who bash doctors as if any moron can get into medical school let alone successfully complete it and a residency.

Also, I have several good friends who are docs ranging from Family to ER to Pediatric Surgeons, none of whom believe in "pushing pills". However, I've been told by many of them (especially Family docs) that a large percentage of the patients they see are there because they think they'll be magically cured by some medication or pain killer. If somebody 70lbs overweight goes to a Dr. with chronic lower back pain and is told to go home, get to a healthy weight and strengthen their "core", they think it was a wasted trip and that "the Dr. was an idiot"...sound familiar to anyone? There are bad Docs out there, just like there are bad electricians, truck drivers, and accountants. For the most part, however, MD's deserve some respect for doing what they do on a day-to-day basis.
