    Another Damn Hurricane!

    Im trying real hard to get back to training and dieting for a show in a few months, but DAMN here comes another Hurricane! If its not one thing (work, surgery, a new motorcycle) its another. This one ( Frances) is headed straight here and already a catagory 4. It will probably be a catagory 5. Ive been thru one of those..not a goo thing at all. Im about 5 miles from the beach so if it comnes ashore here its gonna suck for us.
    All the stores are out of batteries, plywood and bottled water already...
    The storm is scheduled to land here 9maybe) Saturday.

    I just want to get back to normal trainng....

      We'd take it here in Houston, but we really, really don't want it. Maybe Alabama would be so kind as to offer.

        I heard about that hurricane and immediately thought about all of our FL residents on IM.... GET OUT before Saturday, please!!!

          Sounds like evacuation is in order. Sorry to hear, Sweat. Hope you and your family and friends will be OK. We had heavy rain this morning, but nothing
          hurricane like. But a wetter than usual summer for sure.

          Can imagine how impatient you must be for a normal training schedule. But it will happen. God bless and get through the storm!

            im in orlando as well and from what im seeing on Tv is that its coming our way but honestly i can never take these things to serously until the day before or the day of, Becuase they always change direction. Like last time it wasnt suppose to hit orlando hard and hit tampa area and everyone came down to orlando to be safe and then it ended up not hiting tamp and nailing orlando lol go figure

                I feel your pain. 7 hurricanes in 8 years for us. Of course the storm itself is a bad deal, but the 3-4 days afterwards of all the power being out, stores closed (gyms too, damn!), absolutely nothing to do and living like a caveman is no fun at all.

                Hope you guys stay safe. This one looks pretty stout.

                              Its looking like it coming RIGHT HERE. theres no more plywood anywhere.
                              Im packing up the supps and the wife (not necessarily in that order) and leaving tonight heading north towards Atlanta.

                              Hey KR-- I took my bike in for the 1000 mile service last night. I have separation anxiety. I really didnt want to leave without it.... Now thinking about it, Im leaving the bike at the dealership for the storm...They have 30 bikes on the showroom floor...they'll take care of mine Im sure....
