I've never really been into reading books. I've always been more of a math & science guy and don't have the attention span to stick with a book - but I enjoy reading articles.
The last book I was reading was ACE's Essentials of Exercise Science for Fitness Professionals. Before that it was Food Matters, In Defense of Food, The Anabolic Diet, and The Snowball (Warren Buffett biography) - and that's over the course of the last couple years.
Have also recently read a couple user manuals for new software/products that I'm working with at work - does that count?

This is me too....my attention span is no good for books, at all. I can read articles and short stuff that interests me, but nothing very long....
My son was reading The Hunger Games, and as he was telling me about it I thought damn, maybe I will read that. It seemed very good from what he was saying. Two weeks later I'm on page 9......even a book like that can't hold my attention.....
I recently finished "American Sniper," by navy seal Chris Kyle....awesome. Also recommend "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell...every American needs to read it.
Getting ready to read "On Killing" by Lt Col. Dave Grossman.

I have been studying the NEC 2008 code book. I will be testing for the Master Electrician exam later this year. It is so conflicting but that is the rules that have been set to follow for electrical installations and boring.
Breck- I read "On Killing" and took a 40 hour class with Grossman.....the book and class were both incredible...
