  • 1st trip to the casino was not a good one

i went to the casino last night for the 1st time and it was not really a good night money wise anyways. i played blackjack and i ended up losing 80 bucks. but hell i was so stupid that ones i got home i decided it would be a good idea to go back and try to win my dam money back. bad move number 2. i set myself a 40 dollard limit and things were going great i was up 125 bucks but dumb me wanted more so i kept going and ended up losing all of that plus the 60 more. i only slept 5 hours thinking about what an idiot i was. now that im back up im really thinking of going back and trying to win atleast some of that back. am i just messed up i lost 160 bucks and im really thinking of going back to probably lose some more.

casinos are not set up for people to go in and make money.

think of gambling as any other form of entertainment. you might be willing to spend 100 on a few hours of entertainment so set that as your limit and stick to it.

walk away when time is up or the $100 is gone.

i dont gamble myself but i get a hell of a lot of fun out of my cash watching my wife go nutz at the casinos.

Actually I find the horse races much more fun.

For my father birthday we suprised him by taking him, my family and my wife to the race track for dinner nd to be on the races. Each on of us had $20 for beting ont he races.

Both the wife and I won twice on the odds and we both won $200 each that day. And it only cost us $40. We never expected to win anything, that why it was fun.

Get a card group going. We play nickle, and dime night, and it is more fun ranking on each other than sitting in a casino watching an empire get bigger.

Ah, sorry to hear that bro. Never play with more than your willing to lose. If you go in with the mindset of its OKAY to lose this money than you'll have fun, win or lose. If your not willing to part with the cash don't sit on the table. And don't go back thinking your going to win your money back....it rarely happens.

I've been lucky with blackjack. My last 3 trips to Vegas netted me $500, $1400, and $700 on the tables. If you play by the book, the house odds are almost even in Blackjack. Also, learn when to push your bets and you can typically break even at worse. This is where people screw up....most push there bets when they lose, when the opposite is the best way to make money. Better luck next time.

Dude, casinos are entertainment for 99.9 % of the world population. I would "bet" that you are not that .10 percent that is a pro. Listen to what teh others here have said. Give yourself a number of how much money you are willing to lose and leave it at that. Enjoy the time at the casino this way. Whenevr I go to those places I say ok tonight I have # much to spend, be it on whatever. After tat its last call. If I amke something thats great but at least this way I am not losing more than I had planned. Dude gambling is a tough one to balance ! be careful and yet be sure to allow yourself to have a blast.. check out teh babes !

Consider youself lucky that you learned your lesson so cheaply your first go at it, now making sure you remember that feeling that you felt all last night is the key next time you're there!

Honey, if you're into throwing money away then throw it in my direction!

As for me...they'll be prying money outta my cold dead fingers before I'll let loose of it in a casino.

Fancy's idea sounds WAY more fun.
