Wedding Anniversary Help

Me and my wife's 3yr anniversary is coming up on Sep. 1st. I need some romantic ideas. Unfortunatley I'm a big nerd, and don't really know what to do. We're planning on staying in the city on the weekend before. I have a nice suite reserved, and dinner at a nice restaurant. Any ideas how to make the night special? Help a geek out!!!

Creator_11: We're staying in San Francisco. Probably get there around 4-5pm and stay the night. A walk sounds nice, its just too cold out here in SF. Maybe a nighttime cruise?? But then she doesn't like water, she gets sea sick....doh!

And thanks guys about the comments on my wife. I'm still trying to figure out what she see's in my monkey ass. I'm hoping our kids get her genes instead of mine, lol.

Does she like flowers? You could arrange to have lots already in your room before ya'll get there.

Go good on the card, don't just jot down your name though, write in it! I don't care if you get one that says exactly what you want to say to her. Come up with something and write it in your own handwriting.

Dinner at a restaurant on the water, reservations, maybe a gift brought to the table by the them. You'd have to arrange ahead of time to have whatever you're giving her there. Be it a single rose ( very good) or something else. The thought in planning something, even just a little something, ahead of time is impressive, shows her you think about her even when she's not with you...very nice to know.

If so, you should decorate the suite. Have candles all over the room & in the bathroom. Get all kinds of massage oils & bubble bath stuff.

My husband does this for me all the time & honestly it's the best thing. Pour her a very hot bubble bath, make sure there are candles lit all around, soft music in the background (I personally like country). The more bubbles in the bath the better. you know, get insane with the bubbles. Bathe her & make her feel sexy. Don't necessarily attack her just yet, just make her feel good. After that, take her in the bedroom & give her a really good gentle massage. At my house usually massaging leads to other things, so.....

Just being together and giving her your undivided attention can be romantic. My wife and I just enjoyed being together.

Maybe at dinner surprise her with a gift certificate to a spa or trendy store. If there is a park nearby, maybe an evening carriage ride. My wife loved the buggy rides through Central Park. And a concert, play or film would be nice.

Enjoy each other's company and havea great time.

Call ahead to the restaurant and have them get some flowers and make sure they are on the table when you two show up for dinner.


before dinner, see if you can find a nice wine bar to start things off. If you are walking in the evening, make sure you wrap your jacket around her shoulders.

What ever you do, don't even think about looking at other women on that night. Focus all your attention on your wife.
