IntenseMuscle's featured member for the month of July is Future. Shawn, thanks for taking the time to let people here get to know you a little better.
1. What is your name? Any nicknames?
Shawn Bellon. When I had hair I was teased and called “Ivan” from the Rocky 4 movie. Most online know me as Future.
2. Where do you live?
Sunny Tucson, AZ. It’s crazy hot but I do like it.
3. What do you do for a living or what are you studying?
I am a certified wellness coordinator in the behavioral health industry. I am starting grad school for my masters in exercise science and health promotion.
4. Are you in a relationship? Do you have any kids?
Happily married to my best friend, Tami. We have lots of pets but no children as of yet. We are looking into adopting.
5. What three words best describe you?
Wow. Tough one. I hate these questions because the online world really knows so little. We always tend to add our own interpretive issues to people. Ok, I would say Christian (has not always been the case), strong and devoted.
6. What 10 things would someone see when they walked in your door?
Lycan, Chloe, Izzy, Chunk and Sissy, lots of my wife’s shoes (that is well over 10), our really beautiful ceramic art THAT I PUT MY KEYS IN.
7. Did you play sports in high school or college? Which one(s)?
Football, wrestling, track and field and a brief stint at cross country.
8. If time and money were not an issue, what would you do with your life?
Build my own sports performance compound to train athletes.

9. If you COULD erase one year out of your life, which one would it be? Why?
Hmm how about compiling all the dumb moments in my lift that could easily take a year? I might say the year that I tried to commit suicide. There was a lot of leading up to my mental breakdown. Even after that I was untreated for a long time. Let’s face it, just reading the above sentences people are already thinking things. That is normal. I get that. But that is also why I tried to avoid the issue…which when it’s with you every day…it just doesn’t work.

Learn, share, support others. It’s been a pretty fair board for a long time. They have a lot of mature leaders that do a nice job of maintaining the site.
