I had to get a key made for my truck. The damn thing cost me over $100 because of the security chip in the key. I also took 3 days for them to make the key and program it.Originally posted by SweatMachine

Do you have AAA? They make keys for free. I think I pay 40.00 a year and you get so many comps ~ Also, if you're driving with someone else and something happens to their car, you can say YOU were driving it and they'll assist you in that car.

Almost did the same thing to myself on Monday morning. But thankfully I pushed the unlock button on the keyless entry before I slammed the truck shut with my keys in it.
I feel your pain. Locking your keys in your car is a major pain in the ass.Comment
