Gotta have a papasan (sp) chair.....I love those things, and they are cheap too!
Damn...Heck already mentioned the milk crates. That is a must at a batchelor pad...lol.Admin@ http://www.proactivehealthnet.com

Well, if you want a woman's opinion....Oh I'll give it anyway. Bachelor pad always needs a soft fuzzy rug on the living room floor. I don't know that Id worry about a coffee table, but maybe try a few end tables. Since you have a black tv stand Id go with with black table and please dont do glass top...ewwwwww. Also the papisan chair is an awesome idea...do red!!! There I think that is all you need. Comfortable and manly! Now keep in mind I was single about 6yrs ago and Im just saying what I liked seeing. Hey always have a nice blanket on hand. When us women are around we like a blanky to snuggle under during those movie nights. Now one more piece of advice...Keep a few macho things around. Something sports oriented or along those lines. A man's house that is too prissy is a turn off.LeslieComment

Dude trust me on this......
Go get a chic you know to help. Your gonna do it yourself and end up with "Camp Richard" or some thing worse looking.... Chics have style and taste and , well basiclly we dont. You want a place chics dig? get a chic to help pick out the Furnishings!
Ever been to a chics place and say, DAMN! shes got everything! wash clothes , soap, a real shower curtain, a bed witha head board, WOW...
I was a bachalor for a LONG time.....I learned how to get it done right!Last edited by SweatMachine; 08-07-2004, 10:48 PM.SweatMachine

Oh yeah...
Don't leave the Playboy mag on the livingroom tables. Your buddies might think your the sh*t, but any woman that comes over will think you're just sh*t. It doesn't give off 'world class playa' to women...more like 'world class tool'. Just don't do it.
Sweatmachine's right on the money. And like Leslie said, have a blanket or throw for female visitors. Something nice and clean. If you're smart it will smell slightly of cologne (not some other chicks perfume, but your cologne)."The problem is not that there are problems.
