  • Teen/Collegiate/Masters Nationals

Was in Pittsburgh for this past weekend's show. As usual great job by Gary Udit as promoter and evening MC. Record 254 competitors in all divisions, and competition was very strong.

Rusty Jeffers (2nd in USA supers) won 40+ supers and overall and a pro card.
He looked solid, had great overall balance and posed very well. One pal I worked
with Mike Patton was 4th in this class and improved from last year. Just very tough competition.

Another good friend, Lance Johnson (aka TexxFlexx) won 40+ lhw for 2nd year in a row, and again lost overall in a close decision. At 5'3.5" and 198, he was a ripped freak. think he had best legs in the entire show.

Others who looked really good, Bryce Lewis who won 40+ mw and John Cutri who won 40+ hw for 2nd consecutive year.

Other pro card went to overall 50+ winner, Dave Marinelli, and it was much deserved and a popular decision. Another pal, Brett Becker, helped train a monster named Ronnie Gregorecz. Ronnie came in at 250 and was 4th in 50+ hw and should have been at least 2nd. But just my opinion.

Women's masters BB and figure events also very good. Not a lot of competitors for teens and Collegiates, but several good competitors. Especially Peter Putnam who won overall Collegiate title.

Will have photos soon. There are some good ones on Mayhem in the general discussion forum under masters nationals. Will get link and post later.
