  • You be the judge:

    Without saying too much,

You judge the figure girls in the following pictures.
    How would YOU place them?

Would say 21, 23, 20 and 22. But I've seen so much inconsistent judging in figure, that I'm clueless as to how to judge them.

Im clueless too. I was told they are looking for muscualrity with lines without striations. Can you get any more subjective?

I have ZERO experience at this but I came up with the same except I put 22 before 20. 21 hands down as 1st though.

I don't know how to judge as far as competitions go, but to me it would have been a toss up between 21 and 22, then 23 and then 20.

I can do a Rubik's cube in less than 60seconds, but couldn't place those women to save my life.

I really do not know what the standard should be, except for my own preference. Given that I prefer more of a bodybuilder type physique on a woman, this doesn't help much with figure. (FWIW, Sweat, I like 22's physique best - she has the most muscle!!! ;^) )

Thanks, IH. But I do not claim to be an expert, bro. Judged a couple of local shows but never got to regional level or higher.

One of the shows I judged had a female BB division and did not have much trouble with that. But never did any judging for figure. The only thing I understand about figure is that the organizations can make more money from
all the extra org cards and entry fees. Have never seen consistency in judging or iron clad rules how to judge.

It's extremely unfair to the competitors. Rules and guidelines should be issued so the competitors know how to train and prepare.

Was at a show where two lightweight female bodybuilders crossed over into figure. They were same height (figure classes go by height). In BB, A was 1st and B was 3rd. In figure B won and A was 5th. Guess being less muscular worked against B in BB but helped her in figure.
