DAMNIT!! Computer Gurus i need help

Damn I have this search web page that keeps popping up on my browser, i have internet explorer, and everytime i start it pops up. i found the file, its in my local/temp directory called sp.html but everytime i load the broser it replicates! ive tried adaware and spyremover but the dlls keep replicating themselves, is there anyway i can start XP in DOS mode and just delete it that way and then goto xp??? thanks

The easiest way to handle this with XP is to restore back to a point before you got infected. You won't lose any data. I've had very good success using this.

I believe it's

Start>All programs>system tools>restore

Then click on the restore option. When the calendar appears select a restore point. Dates in bold have an available restore point.

System Restore won't work; that is either a webjack page or spyware. You might need to update your AdAware prog as it should remove it. What version and what reference file # are you running? Anything earlier than v6.181 (Pro version) and Ref # 01R326 01.07.2004 is out of date.

sounds like some sort of trojan, download the evaluation copy of "trojanhunter" and run that.
