  • Most expensive food I've ever had

I just got back from my trip and couldn't believe some of the prices I had to pay, well actually work had to pay. The other morning I had breakfast outside and had a ham omlette with a glass of orange juice for $20.

The next day I had a plain grilled chicken sandwich with no other sides and a small bottle of water from room service and it was $25.

I guess they figure if you can afford the resort you can afford the food. I also saw $9 beer and $10 mixed drinks........

mark, There is a restaurant over by me and as we sat down I noticed no prices on the menu, oh no, I do not belong at a place like this, so me being me, I asked, "how much is the Filet", She responds, "49.95", I said that is with a salad, no she said, that is extra, I folded my napkin placed it on the talbe and we went to Claim Jumper, oh yes, eat the whole place for 50.00 bucks...

The most expensive place I have been was this damn buffet in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It was a seafodd buffet. That all types of black sea bass and red snapper everything was so damn good. Best damn buffet I have ate to this day come to think of it. Me and my 2 buddies were just being complete hogs, knockin the plates back. We did not know they charged a fee per plate. It was $2** something. This was in 1995. It was good though. We cut our vacation short 2 days.

Ever paid 300$ for a plate of sushi?
